Membership Terms & Conditions
- Setup Fee: A one-time setup fee applies to all new memberships — $149 for Essential Family Care, $199 for Connected Home Care, and $299 for Total Family Protection. This fee covers remote access configuration via LogMeIn Resolve, initial antivirus scan and setup, and any immediate remediation required at onboarding (e.g., Windows updates, application updates, critical security patches). Setup fees are non-refundable once onboarding has begun.
- Antivirus & PC Management: PC Management is provided and managed by FleckTech Solutions LLC via LogMeIn Resolve. Windows PCs receive full Bitdefender antivirus protection, managed updates, and security scanning. Mac computers receive managed updates, security policy enforcement, and device management; Mac antivirus is managed via a separate solution (details disclosed at enrollment). Specific software and licensing fees will be disclosed at enrollment.
- Minimum Commitment: All monthly memberships require a minimum 2-month commitment before cancellation is permitted.
- Session Limits & Expiration: Remote support sessions are limited to 1 hour each. In-home visits are limited to 1.5 hours per visit for all plans. Unused remote sessions from the current month carry over to the following month only, then expire permanently. Unused in-home visits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over. No allotments have cash value.
- Household & Subscriber Rules: Memberships cover a single household. All support requests must be submitted by the primary subscriber. The primary subscriber must be present for all remote sessions and in-home visits unless otherwise authorized in writing by FleckTech Solutions LLC.
- Service Area & Mileage: In-home visits are limited to FleckTech’s general service areas (Long Island and Upstate New York). Each in-home visit includes up to 50 miles round trip. Overage mileage beyond 50 miles round trip is charged at $1.00/mi standard rate; plan members receive their applicable discount on overage mileage (Essential: $0.95/mi, Connected: $0.90/mi, Total: $0.85/mi).
- Response Time: Response time refers to FleckTech’s initial acknowledgment of a support request, not the completion or scheduling of service. Business hours: Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Sat–Sun 10:00 AM–5:00 PM (Eastern Time). After-hours support is available as a purchasable add-on.
- Discounts: Plan discounts (5%, 10%, 15%) apply to eligible add-on services including extra remote sessions, overage mileage, and additional in-home visit time. Discounts explicitly exclude website design and website support services.
- Additional Services (Add-Ons): Members may purchase the following beyond their plan allotments, billed at the member rate (your plan discount is already applied):
- Additional remote session time (beyond the 1-hour cap): billed per hour at your member rate.
- Additional in-home visit time (beyond the 1.5-hour cap): billed per hour at your member rate. No mileage charge applies — FleckTech is already on-site.
- Additional in-home visit (beyond your monthly allotment): billed per hour at your member rate + round-trip mileage at your member rate + a $50 trip fee. A $75 diagnostic fee applies to any new issue not previously addressed under your current plan.
- After-hours support (outside standard business hours): billed at your member rate; an after-hours surcharge may apply.
- Emergency / same-day service: billed at your member rate; a same-day service fee applies.
- Additional managed PC (beyond your plan’s device limit): per-device monthly fee disclosed at enrollment.
- Annual Price Lock: Subscribers who pay annually have their plan rate locked for the full billing year, even if standard pricing increases during that period.
- Fair Use Policy: If a subscriber consistently utilizes more than 80% of their included sessions or visits for three or more consecutive months, FleckTech Solutions LLC reserves the right to review the account and adjust plan pricing with 30 days’ written notice.
- Referral Credit: Refer a friend or family member who enrolls in any FleckTech Assurance membership and receive a $20 credit applied to your next billing cycle. Credits have no cash value.
- Exclusions: Memberships do not cover physical hardware repair, advanced data recovery, or services requiring licensed trades (e.g., electricians, network cabling contractors).
